Sometimes the washing machine finishes its cycle and leaves the fabric softener compartment filled with water. The fact that the fabric softener disappeared and was replaced with water shows that the function worked. However, no compartment full of water should be left behind. If so, then the water remaining in the fabric softener compartment is due to a blockage or a missing siphon tube. Read on to learn how to solve the problem!
The hose at the back of the fabric softener compartment often becomes clogged with the fabric softener itself. If you take out the dispenser drawer and remove the lid or device, you can clean the whole thing thoroughly. If a part is missing, the siphon cannot work.
