Furnishing with lots of white, marble and wood on 400 square meters

The trend of bright, light-flooded apartments is currently enjoying great popularity. That's why the color white is being used more and more often in modern interior design. It makes the rooms look brighter, tidier and, above all, larger. But there is also a risk that the rooms will become sterile and uncomfortable. This designer apartment shows how varied and friendly an ambience with lots of white elements can be. The talented team from the Bulgarian Extravagance Design Studio focuses on modern design, clear lines, lots of light and shows how versatile color can be. Because no matter what material you combine the non-color with, its effect is always completely different.

The open living area in white with kitchen and dining area

The apartment is located in Sarafovo, a district of the Bulgarian port city of Burgas, and has a beautiful view of the Black Sea. Four apartments were combined into one and transformed into a cozy, spacious home. This resulted in a total living space of 400 square meters. These include two living rooms, four bedrooms, five bathrooms, two home offices, a dressing room and a laundry room.

The large living area includes a kitchen with dining area and a cozy seating area. In the dining area, the dark wooden paneling contrasts beautifully with the dark marble wall. Pietra Gray is agray marblewith white veins and has a very lively character. The dining table is also a real eye-catcher in the room. Thanks to the glass table frame, the table top made of fine wood appears to float in the air. The design of the table harmonizes perfectly with the white chairs from the Italian brand Calligaris. The black ceiling light from Artemide can rightly be called a real work of art.

The Pietra Gray marble can be found again in the kitchen. The kitchen back wall and the worktop made of dark marble form a beautiful contrast to the handleless kitchen fronts in high-gloss white. The kitchen island made of wood and glass adds some color to the otherwise monochrome design.

Large-format porcelain stoneware tiles from Rex Ceramiche in antique white were chosen as floor coverings throughout the apartment. The rooms flow seamlessly into one another and visually merge into a whole.

The customers wanted to have two living rooms in the apartment. The first is in the open plan living area and the second is in an adjacent room. The floor-to-ceiling sliding door between the two rooms can be opened completely, almost doubling the space.

The beige sofa from Calligaris really stands out against the gray wall. Beautiful touches of color include the Nicoline armchair in petrol blue and the carpet with a geometric pattern. The view from the sofa of the endless sea is fantastic.

The second living room with television

The second living room serves as a quiet retreat where the family can watch TV together. The petrol blue accents create a visual connection between the seating areas. The blue tones are also intended to be reminiscent of the sea.

The guest room is right next to the living room. Like all other bedrooms, guests also have their own bathroom.

A common corridor connects the two children's rooms, the associated bathrooms and the dressing room. The color white plays an important role again, but this time the focus is on the concrete-look wall.

Home office for two with console in white

On the way to the parents' bedroom you come to a transitional room with a small workstation for two. At each end of the room, large mirrored walls create a fascinating effect of endlessness.

The parents' bedroom

The color white also dominatesParents' bedroom. The massive double bed is integrated into a floor-to-ceiling built-in wardrobe that extends from wall to wall. Tone on tone with the white walls, it disappears into the background.

The bedroom leads to a second home office. This is the quietest place in the apartment, far away from the large living room. The desk made of clear glass looks very chic with its modern design. The dark wood wall panels bring a cozy touch to the simple room.

The air conditioning units in the apartment are embedded in the suspended ceiling and ensure the comfort of the residents. What is impressive is that the installation depth is only 15 centimeters. Electric roller blinds were also installed for comfort reasons.

Particular attention was also paid to the lighting concept. The lights are not only functional, but also fascinate with their modern design and elegant aesthetics.

Children's room for a boy with a loft bed

In the little boy's room we discover a great loft bed made of medium-dark wood. It not only offers a comfortable place to lie down, but also plenty of storage space such as drawers in the stairs and storage compartments. He can also do his schoolwork at his desk.

A combination of wooden wall panels and effect plaster from Wall & Deco was chosen for the wall design at the back. Wallpaper with a floral pattern was installed on the opposite wall. The hanging lights from Vistosi look like two floating clouds.

The other children's room also has its secrets. At first glance it looks like there is only one bed in the room, but it's not quite like that. Where the yellow floor cushion is, the wooden plate can be pushed under the other bed.
