You have probably already seen from various design examples that you can do a lot with an old building. Another great example is the apartment that this article is about. This is a duplex originally built in 1039 and is located in Lisbon, Portugal. Tall windows and the large balcony are just two of the attractive elements that impress in Atelier Data's modern design. Tall windows in the living room
Large windows separate the living room from the spacious terraceDuplex apartment, which was no less stylishly designed and furnished. Small tiles with a checkerboard pattern decorate the floor, while the facade complements the white walls inside. Not only the plants provide color accents, but also the green chairs that were chosen for the dining table on the balcony. The practical window design has the function that they can be pushed up like a garage and disappear into the ceiling, allowing convenient access to the outside area.
Tall windows with curtains
The window front is equipped with modern, thick curtains that provide both privacy and sun protection. It also provides plenty of daylight and makes the living space appear friendlier and more homely. The stylish furnishings, which consist of a blue-gray sofa and a cozy canapé, also contribute to this. There is also an attractive parquet floor that adds warmth to the interior and extends across almost the entire apartment. Subtle colors as an accent to the white walls and some white furniture create an elegant interior that is modern and in no way suggests that this is an old building.
