Making bubble tea with tapioca pearls – recipe

One of the latest trends among gourmets is bubble tea with tapioca pearls. The name of the tea actually has nothing to do with beads - bubbles are formed when stirring, which is why it was also called bubble. Preparing the tea is pretty simple - basically the small balls are boiled first and then mixed with sugar, milk and various fruit juices. Here is a simple recipe for the new miracle tea from Asia:

And this is how the tea drink is prepared:

First boil the water /7 times more than the beads - for example if you want to make 4 cups of tea then you will need ½ cup of the beads and 7 cups of water/. Then add the balls to the water (stir quickly, otherwise they will stick to each other). Cook over medium heat for 20-30 minutes, changing color - when done they will turn black and smell like caramel. Then let it cool and rinse with cold water. If desired, pour with fruit juice, make strong tea and let cool. Then mix tea, milk and possibly the rest of the fruit juice into a watering can. Add ice cubes – done!
