Start preparing the cauliflower pizza dough
First, preheat the oven to 210 degrees. While it is fully heating, add the cauliflower to the blender and puree well. Strain the resulting mixture well into a cloth to remove excess liquid. Mix the cauliflower, egg, parmesan, almond flour, garlic and Italian spices, add salt and pepper and stir well until a homogeneous mixture is formed.
Form a circle out of the dough and spread it out to a diameter of 30 cm. Beforehand, line the baking tray well with baking paper and grease it with butter. Place the cauliflower on a well-greased baking sheet and bake in the oven for 20 minutes until golden brown. Now the healthy base for our pizza is ready and all you have to do is add more flavor.
Remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle with Parmesan. Then pour the marinara sauce on top and sprinkle with Parmesan again. Place in the oven for 5-7 minutes until the ingredients are soft. Season the finished pizza with basil, salt and pepper.

How to prepare the marinara sauce for your cauliflower pizza crust
Ingredients:
- 400 g fresh, peeled tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon sauteed green onions
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 Teelöffel Steviola-Pulver
- 6 large fresh basil leaves
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Puree the peeled tomatoes in a blender. Place in a pan along with the onion, garlic, oregano, basil, olive oil and steviol. Cook the sauce over medium heat, uncovered, for 15-20 minutes until slightly thickened. If necessary, you can add some water. The finished sauce can be consumed immediately or stored in the refrigerator.
Vegan pizza with cauliflower dough and vegetables
Ingredients:
- 700 grams of cauliflower
- 50 grams of chia seeds
- 10 g Coconut flour
- 5-6 Mushrooms
- 7-8 cherry tomatoes
- 1 small red onion
- Basil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon oregano powder
- Tomato sauce
- ½ teaspoon salt
Steam the cauliflower for 10-15 minutes and then grate or grate it. Place the crumbs in a kitchen towel and tie the towel to a rope. Drain excess water from the cauliflower.
Place the drained cauliflower in a large bowl and season with salt, garlic powder and oregano. Add the coconut flour. Crush the chia seeds and add them to the paste. Mix well.
Spread the mixture on a baking tray. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 45 minutes. Once the cauliflower pizza dough is ready, remove it from the oven and let it cool.
