Recipe for filled puff pastry pockets with mushrooms, peppers and onions

No matter whether for a quick snack in between or as a finger food at a party, puff pastry is always good. The best thing is that the dough can be used for hearty snacks and for sweet sweets.

If you are looking for filled puff pastry pockets, take a look in the fridge. You definitely have the right ingredients at home. Because it is practical that in principle you can vary as you like. These snacks are always a hit!

Prepare the hearty filled puff pastry pockets

You can choose the following recipe for filled puff pastry pockets or even experiment yourself with the ingredients.

Ingredients for the dumplings with mushrooms and peppers

For 2 rolls TK-Blättigig (270 g):

  • 150 - 200 g mushrooms, cut into slices
  • 1 red peppers, gutted and cut into cubes or strips
  • 1 onion, medium -sized, cut into rings/columns
  • 100 g grated cheese
  • 1 pinch of nutmegor any other spices
  • 2 The ButterOr food oil
  • 1 no
  • 1 tablespoon of milk
  • Pepper and salt

So fill and bake the dough

A notice:You can distribute the ingredients raw on the dough and braise as well as in the following description.

  • Melt the butter in a pan.
  • Steam the onions together with the peppers until they are glassy.
  • Add the mushrooms.
  • Take off the hob after about a minute.
  • Fold in cheese.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and lay out with baking paper.
  • Roll out the puff pastry, cut into 8 squares (as large as possible) and spread it on the sheet.
  • Whisk the egg with the milk. Spread the doughlands.

  • Place about a tablespoon of filling on the middle of each square.
  • Fold one of the corner from each square to the opposite and squeeze the edges (with finger, fork or spoon). You can also take two corners opposite.
  • Also cover the tops of the puff pastry pockets with the milk egg mixture.
  • Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
  • If you want, you can sprinkle the finished bags with further cheese and push them into the oven briefly.

Tipp:Would you like a variant with meat? Then you could also add minced meat to the filling. Fry this either together with the vegetables and the spices or separately if you want to use raw vegetables as a filling.
