Tiramisu is a true classic of Italian cuisine and is definitely one of my family's favorite desserts. Whether classic, with strawberries in summer or a Christmas tiramisu - the delicious dessert tastes divine all year round and ensures more “dolce vita” on the table. How about a baked apple tiramisu as a Christmas dessert, for example? Or would you rather have speculoos? No matter what you feel like – with our recipes everyone will get their money’s worth!
Baked apple tiramisu in a glass
Aromatic baked apples are a must in winter and this is perhaps my favorite way to prepare tiramisu for Christmas!
Ingredients for 6-8 servings
Baked apples:
- 500 grams of apples
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 pack of vanilla sugar
Tiramisu:
- 300 Gramm Mascarpone
- 250 grams of low-fat curds
- 200 grams of whipped cream
- 200 grams of cookies of your choice (I used speculoos)
- 40 ml orange liqueur
- 20 grams of cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
preparation
- For the baked apples, peel, core and finely dice the apples.
- Simmer apple pieces with cinnamon and vanilla sugar in a small saucepan over low heat for 5-8 minutes or until softened. Don't cook them for too long or they will fall apart.
- Mix the mascarpone, quark, sugar and lemon juice in a bowl until smooth.
- Beat the cream in a separate bowl with a hand mixer until stiff and carefully add it to the mascarpone mixture.
- Roughly crumble the cookies, divide them among the glasses and drizzle with the orange liqueur.
- Spread the baked apples on top and cover with some mascarpone cream.
- Repeat the process until everything is used up and finish with cream.
- Finally, sprinkle with cocoa powder and voilà – your baked apple tiramisu in a glass is ready!
Aromatic speculoos tiramisu
Whether as a Christmas tiramisu orSpeculoos pralines with cream cheese– we love speculaas and the spicy cookies can be used to conjure up a wide variety of delicacies. Serve this decadent dessert and you'll blow away all your guests, we promise.
Ingredients for 8 servings
- 400 grams of speculoos
- 500 Gramm Mascarpone
- 400 grams of low-fat quark
- 3 tbsp ground coffee (approximately 20 grams) or 100 ml brewed coffee
- 100 grams of cane sugar
- The juice and zest of 1 lemon
- 2 packs of vanilla sugar
- 2 eggs, at room temperature
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
preparation
- Brew coffee and let it cool slightly.
- Separate the eggs and beat the egg yolks, sugar, mascarpone and vanilla sugar in a bowl with a hand mixer.
- Add the lemon juice and low-fat quark and stir until smooth.
- Dip around 160 grams of speculoos biscuits into the coffee and layer them alternately with the mascarpone cream in a bowl. Alternatively, you could prepare the speculoos tiramisu in a glass.
- Place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Mix cocoa powder and cinnamon and sprinkle the tiramisu with it.

Gingerbread tiramisu in a glass
Quick to make, irresistibly delicious and a great eye-catcher - this is another excellent recipe for making tiramisu for Christmas.
Ingredients for 4 servings
Creme:
- 350 Gramm Mascarpone
- 250 grams of quark
- 60 grams of powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon gingerbread spice
For layering:
- 100 ml Kirschsaft
- 300 grams of chocolate gingerbread
preparation
- Mix the quark, mascarpone, powdered sugar and gingerbread spice in a bowl with a whisk until smooth.
- Roughly crumble the gingerbread with your hands and distribute about a third of it among the glasses.
- Drizzle the cookies with the cherry juice and cover with a layer of mascarpone cream.
- Then cover with more gingerbread crumbs, drizzle with cherry juice again and spread the remaining cream on top.
- Place the gingerbread tiramisu in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Finally, sprinkle with a little cocoa powder and decorate with cherries or sour cherries.
The best orange tiramisu

Ingredients
Creme:
- 300 grams of ladyfingers
- 2 egg yolks
- 500 Gramm Mascarpone
- 200 grams of cream
- 50 grams of sugar
- 2 packs of cream stiffener
- 1 pack of vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt
Sud:
- 4 oranges
- 40 ml orange liqueur
- 50ml water
- 50 grams of sugar
preparation
- Grate the peel from 2 oranges, cut the oranges in half and squeeze out the juice.
- Peel the other 2 oranges with a sharp knife and cut them into very thin slices.
- To make the stock, melt the sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until you get a light caramel.
- Add the orange juice and water and simmer for 3-4 minutes while stirring.
- Remove the pot from the heat and add the orange liqueur.
- Place the ladyfingers in a baking dish and spread generously with half of the liquid.
- For the cream, beat the egg yolks, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt with a hand mixer for 3-4 minutes until creamy.
- Mix the mascarpone and orange zest in a separate bowl and carefully fold in the egg yolk mixture.
- Beat the cream until stiff and stir into the cream with the orange slices.
- Cover the ladyfingers with half of the cream.
- Place another layer of ladyfingers on top and drizzle with the remaining liquid.
- Top with the remaining cream, cover with cling film and place in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Sprinkle with cocoa powder shortly before serving and you're done - it's that easy to prepare orange tiramisu for Christmas!
