Embroider flowers with instructions for free – two-tone flowers
For this final flower, first embroider the outline of one color and then the other. Then fill in the first color with simple straight stitches and repeat with the other color. Finally, all you have to do is add the yellow pollen by simply embroidering it on the finished bloom of the flowers. Poke through the center at the bottom of the flower, determine the length of the pollen stem and make a French knot (instructions in the link above), then push the needle through the knot and fabric. Three such pollen should be enough.
Use template to embroider flowers
You can also embroider just the outlines of floral motifs using templates for this purpose. But how do you transfer the motif from the template to the fabric? The first two variants are only suitable for light-colored fabric.
Use the window:
- Stick the printed motif to a window pane using painter's tape.
- Attach the fabric over the top with painter's tape.
- Trace the translucent motif onto the fabric.
- Stretch the fabric into the embroidery hoop and embroider flowers.
With baking paper and pencil:
- Completely color in the required area on the baking paper with a pencil.
- Place the painted side on the fabric.
- Place the printed motif on top.
- Trace the lines with the pencil.
- The pressure transfers the fine pencil dust from the baking paper to the fabric in the places you traced.
However, if you want to embroider darker fabrics, you should choose embroidery stabilizer. You can choose between one that you then tear off and one that is water-soluble. First transfer the motif to the fleece using one of the two instructions above and then fix it onto the stretched fabric as described by the manufacturer. Now you can embroider your flowers along the lines on the fleece and create a beautiful embroidery with flowers.
