This idea is ideal for your fall decorations in your own home. For the DIY bowl made of autumn leaves, you need a leaf garland from the craft store, napkin glue (used for crafts using the napkin technique), a foam brush, a balloon, scissors and a bowl. First, cut the leaves from the string that binds them into a garland and remove the stems if there are any.
Then inflate the balloon to its full size and then put napkin glue in a bowl that you place nearby. Apply a thin layer of glue to the bottom half of the balloon. To do this, start in the middle and work your way down. Glue a leaf to the wet surface of the balloon and apply another layer of glue on top. Repeat, covering any exposed areas on the bottom half of the balloonwith autumn leaves for craftsdifferent size.
Once you've covered a quarter of the balloon on the way down, add a leaf or two to the bottom portion for greater weight and support. Allow the glue to dry for at least an hour. Once the glue has dried, use a needle to carefully poke a hole into the end of the balloon where it is tied and slowly let the air out. Use your fall leaf creation to fill with potpourri or candy and enjoy the result of your own work.
