But don't worry - you don't have to invest in expensive cosmetic products straight away. Hair masks made from natural ingredients such as the popular avocado hair mask are very rich in vitamins and nutrients and are easy to make yourself. We have prepared 3 easy avocado recipes here!
While the Central American miracle fruit can be used to conjure up a variety of delicious dishes, avocado oil is also used in various areas beyond the kitchen. The bright green avocado oil contains lots of unsaturated fatty acids, antioxidants and vitamins such as vitamins E and D and is also ideal for use as a hair mask that provides shine and body.
To do your dry hair good, you need for this hair treatment:
– a ripe avocado
– ½ lemon juice
– 1 tbsp olive oil
It's so easy to make your own hair treatment:
Cut the avocado open, scoop out the flesh with a spoon, then place the mixture in a bowl. Mash into a pulp, add a few drops of olive oil and lemon juice and mix everything well. Massage the mask into the lengths of your hair. To further enhance the care effect through heat,first cling film andthen wrap a towel around the ends of your hair. After 30 minutes of exposure, rinse your hair thoroughly with mild shampoo.
This nourishing mask makes the hair very soft, gentle and supple and provides an extra dose of moisture.
Ingredients:
– 1 ripe avocado
– 1 cup of yogurt
– tbsp jojoba oil
Preparation: Peel the avocado, remove the seeds, mash the flesh with a fork or puree it. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Apply the finished hair mask to damp hair, leave it on for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
How to make your mane shine again!
The essential oils provide a special scent.
Ingredients:
– 200 milliliters of avocado oil
– 30 milliliters of safflower oil
– A few drops of sweet almond oil, lavender oil, lemongrass oil, rosemary oil and geranium oil.
Preparation:
Mix all oils in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 40 seconds. Use different pipettes to carefully add a few drops of all four essential oils until you are satisfied with the scent.
Apply the mask to your hair while it is still warm (but no longer burning hot), it is best to do it strand by strand. Pay particular attention to stressed ends and roots. Then put your hair under a shower cap, after 45 minutes, rinse out the oil mask with a little shampoo and blow dry.
Note: Oil-based hair treatments can weigh down finer hair and should therefore not be used more than once a week.
