Designer Hanna Korvela's most famous project is called Duetto - a hand-woven carpet made of cotton and paper yarn. The model was crowned with the Red Dot prize in 1997. In the coming years, Korvela brought a collection of exclusive carpets in natural colors onto the market under the name Duett. Manufactured using traditional Finnish manufacturing methods, the Duett brand has become an absolute classic today. But what is the great appeal of the carpet?
The carpet made of cotton and paper yarn impresses primarily with a simple, typically Scandinavian look. Each model is hand-knotted from paper yarn, cotton yarn and cotton fabric.
