Contrasting grout colors to enhance white wall tiles

The architects from the Spanish studio PYO arquitectos have been busy modernizing an 80 sqm apartment in Madrid with the task of brightening up the interior. They achieved this in the hallway, kitchen and bathrooms by laying white square wall tiles as wall paneling. To beautify the overall look, they used contrasting grout colors for the different rooms.

The different onesTile joint colorscan freshen up any ordinary white wall. Whether for the bathroom, the kitchen or another room, they offer a wide range of design options for the furnishings and create a beautiful joint pattern that everyone notices. The architects from Madrid chose unequal grout colors to create a clear demarcation between the individual rooms in the apartment.

A gray grout was chosen for the entrance area, which forms a clear contrast to the white wall tiles. The wall cladding with gray tile joints continues into the kitchen, where it becomes a kitchen back wall. The first bathroom uses a bright red grout that refreshes the white space and brightens the mood. The second bathroom, on the other hand, has a calming effect with its blue-green tile joints and gives a pleasant feeling. Check out the pictures below to see the different grout colors for the wall tiles in this apartment.
