Minimalist architecture and interior greenery – house in Vietnam

Minimalist architecture is characterized by simple forms and clear geometry, which is kept clean with additional decorative elements. However, contemporary buildings typical of this style are not at all simple. They meet high standards and, above all, offer a very high level of comfort, which is highly valued by the residents.

The minimalist architecture contains everything it has to offer.Indoor and outdoor areasis reduced to the essentials and follows a clear style line. Most of the time, a feeling of security and safety is achieved in the residents, which is what everyone needs in their home. The house 'Long Cave' in a suburb of Vinh Long, Vietnam, was designed with exactly this idea in mind.

The house is located in a suburb of a large metropolis in Vietnam, where unrest and social problems prevail and people retreat inside, into their houses. The project is not called 'Long Cave' for nothing. The house plan corresponds completely to the idea for the cave - there is only one front door that serves as an entrance and exit. All rooms flow into one another and every window is missing. A narrow strip of windows runs across the roof, providing daylight into the rooms.

The interior greenery plays the role of a garden, which is missing due to security. In a sustainable and particularly customer-oriented way, the architects from23o5 Studioeliminated the problematic environment without sacrificing the comfort of life.
