Treehouse hotel in Sweden – futuristic design

If you are looking for new experiences but at the same time don't want to miss out on the comfort that a hotel room offers, you might choose a treehouse hotel. Six hotel rooms, in the style of guest houses with an extraordinary design, located in the pine forest, invite you to new adventures in the immediate vicinity of the Swedish mountains. The extraordinary separate architectural objects are located in a place called Harads, about 50 kilometers south of the Arctic Circle and were founded in 2010 by entrepreneur Kent Lindvall as a treehouse hotel complex.

Treehouse Hotel in Sweden – 6 exceptional guest houses

The unusual hotel rooms hang up to six meters high in the canopy of pine trees. Each of the six rooms in the Baumhaus Hotel was designed by a different architect who gave it the name.

House “Dragonfly”

The largest of all mini guest houses is “Dragonfly”, designed by Rintala Eggertsson Architects. 52 square meters are available to guests, including a toilet, bathroom and two bedrooms. There is also a common room with 10 seats and a spacious dining table. From every room you can view the surrounding nature through the large panoramic windows and enjoy the landscape.

Hotel room “Blue Cone”

This hotel room will definitely be described as blue, or not a hotel room at all. It's a little red house in the middle of the pine forest, like an escape from the fairy tale of Snow White. A small bridge leads to the living room, just like the exteriorWooden shinglerelocated and painted bright red. A total of 5 sleeping spaces, living room, loft bedroom and bathroom are available, with a total area of 22 square meters.

The illusion is achieved by the mirrored surface of thefacade. The interior is completely lined with light birch-look plywood. A twelve-meter-long rope bridge leads to the tree house
