IKEA Neuheiten 2023 – Newly produced collection (Part 1)
With the growing popularity of vintage furniture, IKEA has also set about reinventing some of its classic designs - from the DOMSTEN stool to the bold KRYPKORNELL pattern to the striped LAGERMISPEL design.
Some products have simply been updated with bright new colors, while others have evolved to meet more stringent requirements for stability, quality and flat packaging. Here are some of the items that the furniture house has introduced in their first part of the Nytillverkad collection!
DOMSTEN stool in modern colors
The Nytillverkad collection includes the DOMSTEN stool with a smooth pine top and metal legs in modern colors. This series is inspired by the JERRY stool by Karin Mobring.
LÖVBACKEN side table brings color to any room
From pastel green to cobalt blue and orange, with organic curves, tapered legs and a brass finish – the LÖVBACKEN side table is an absolute favorite of the new collection. It will add a bold dose of color to any room. This item was first released in 1956.
KULTURSKOG plant stand that can also serve as a coffee table
Ikea new products 2023 - Bring a little jungle into your home with this colorful plant stand. If you want, you can also use it as a side table or coffee table.
BONDSKÄRET hat/clothes stand – now made entirely of metal
The BONDSKÄRET clothes racks are a bold reinterpretation of the original SMED, originally developed by designer Rutger Andersson in 1978. In the revised design, the hooks are now made entirely of metal and no longer plastic and the legs of the clothes rack can be fixed during assembly.
Updated versions of LAGERMISPEL & KRYPKORNELL patterns
The wide striped LAGERMISPEL cushion cover in white and yellow is an update of Sven Fristedt's ILEX motif, which was originally featured in the IKEA catalog in 1983.
Another iconic design by Sven Fristedt is the KRYPKORNELL pattern. It was first introduced in 1980 as the BLADHULT pattern. Now the cheerful, colorful leaf print typical of Scandinavian design can be found on bedding, kitchen accessories, pre-cut fabrics and pillowcases. This playful print will undoubtedly bring a sunny burst of color and charisma to any home.
IKEA Neuheiten 2023 – Newly produced collection (Part 2)
The color orange characterizes the second part of the Nytillverkad collection, which encourages you to find your personal interior style through innovative color combinations, unusual fabrics and exciting shapes. The classic designs are given new life and are perfect for a modern home. These items will be available worldwide from October.
SKALBODA armchair in orange and black
In the 1980s, the founder of IKEA wanted an armchair that could be made quickly and cheaply. Designer Nils Gammelgaard created this slim, structured armchair in 1983, then called Järpen. The new version of the classic will be available in orange and black.
JARLASA side table can hold up to 100 kg
This side table dates from 1984 under its original name HOFF. Initially designed and manufactured as a folding table, in this new version it is supported by two metal hinges on the sides for greater durability. It may look fragile, but this stand can hold up to 100kg! It is an extremely versatile product that can be used anywhere, from the kitchen to the bathroom to the garage! You can buy it in two colors – white and orange.
STOENSE carpet in striking red
Color is key in this collection. The low-pile STOENSE rug in eye-catching red is another perfect example of this! First seen in the 1959 catalog as RONDO, this rug has been updated to reflect the bold views of the next generation.
HOLMSJO stool guarantees comfort and elegance
Ikea new products 2023 - This modern reinterpretation of the stool was first released in 1963 under the name DOLE and is an absolute must for your home! The sleek design combines wooden legs with a soft leather upholstery, giving it an elegant and timeless look. The stool has a wide seat that guarantees comfort when you sit on it for a long time.
NICKFIBBLA and SVEDJENÄVA textiles and pillowcases
The SVEDJENÄVA pattern was designed by Sven Fristedt. It is now available as a textile and as a pillowcase. The pattern was first introduced in the IKEA catalog in 1971 as ALFI - a blue-green and brown-beige bedspread.
NICKFIBBLA - This popular striped pattern was developed by textile designer Inez Svensson for IKEA in the early 1970s. STRIX in orange with white lines and STRAX in white with orange lines. Today both versions of the pattern are called NICKFIBBLA and are available as fabrics and pillowcases.
