Privacy and sun protection made of wicker in the modern house

A modern house was designed by Sporaarchitects Design and realized in Debrecen, Hungary in 2014. The concept develops around the post-modern architecture in the same city and the traditional materials. The result is a modern home with characteristically straight proportions and large-format windows, the privacy and sun protection of which is guaranteed by wicker panels.

Indoors prevailsminimalist style– open spaces, white walls and concrete ceiling. The light floorboards made of natural wood liven up the atmosphere and make the interior of the house appear homely and cozy. The floor-walls-ceiling design can be traced throughout the entire interior, including in the bedroom. This is just as simply furnished and the highlight is the attached bathroom. It is separated by an elongated glass wall and is completely glazed on two sides.

The house is framed by a wooden floorboard base that extends into a modern covered terrace on one side. This can be accessed through the living room and appears to be connected to it. The living space is shared by a living room with a view of the property and a modern, open-plan kitchen-living room. The furnishings are functional and simple, inspired by midcentury living concepts.
