Warm berry tones and subtle gray create a modern living atmosphere

From strawberry red to blackberry purple – the fruity berry tones are not only a trend in fashion, but are also finding their way into your own four walls. The dark red tones appear feminine, elegant and chic and can be combined perfectly with neutral grey, white and black. To convince you of this, we will introduce you to an impressive residential project. The 2-room apartment is located in Kiev, Ukraine and impresses with its well-thought-out room layout.

Berry tones look even more chic with gray

The stylish interior of this apartment is a metaphor for changing your mindset once you get home. You leave the noise and rush of everyday life behind you and can relax in peace and enjoy a glass of red wine in the evening.

This apartment is designed for a woman who is used to being the center of attention. But she also loves being alone every now and then. The designers have created a living space in which you can both chill out solo and be with friends.

The apartment is designed to be feminine and elegant and is not overloaded with walls, structures or furniture. The rooms are separated from each other by glass walls and a built-in wardrobe with a secret door. The flush door and cabinet fronts are all white and create the impression of a larger room.

The large panoramic windows offer views of the green hills of Kyiv.Large house plantsserve as decorative room decorations and are particularly effective in interesting vessels. The fresh green also creates a nice contrast to berry tones and gives the concrete look an additional oomph.

All materials and colors also serve the same purpose: to gain more space and make the 2-room apartment appear larger. Microcement was used in the kitchen and hallway to give the walls the typical concrete look. This makes the surfaces easier to care for, even if they are subjected to greater wear and tear. The same material was also used as flooring for the bathroom.

A guest toilet is decorated with marble elements and the bathroom is decorated with tiles from Portugal. Since the owner of the apartment is a big wine lover, berry tones dominate here too. From rosé to raspberry red to blackberry red – everything is there.

The furniture can be divided into 2 groups:

1) Scandinavian furniture (chairs by Gubi, sofa by Bolia, tables by Menu, lamps by Arne Jacobsen.

2) and custom-made furniture from Ukraine (bed, hallway bench, dining table)

Individual accents of velvet and brass convey fantastic opulence wherever something extraordinary is desired.
