Instead of sweaters: 5 blouse trends that you could wear now before everyone else

The first rays of sunshine will appear in 2025 and are currently warming the spirit. Oh, it feels good when the sun shines on your face. It almost doesn't matter that there are freezing temperatures at the same time. Basically, it should be the same in winter - but you could still look a little bit fashion forward for the coming winterset. Do you feel like it? We definitely do!

The current blouse trends are simply fun and can be worn now if combined correctly (more on that later!). How nice, then our winter sweaters can breathe a little, or rather be aired out, and our looks become more varied again. ThisBlouse trends from the catwalkYou should definitely remember this for the new year (and ideally shop for it now):

5 blouse trends for spring 2025 that you can wear now

are in most cases evergreens - you can wear them beyond one season and reinterpret them again and again with fresh styling options. It therefore makes sense to pay attention to quality and to look for well-cut models made from solid, high-quality materials.

    1) Extra long blouses

An extra-long cut really means “long”, which means that these blouses are very different from the models that could be seen combined with leggings and trousers from around 2010 onwards. The extra long blouse from Dice Kayek, for example, could also be used as ago through. The highlight here is a translucent fabric that allows the trousers to shine through under the blouse. At Pierre Cardin you can see how you could combine such a blouse in summer. However, I personally prefer the combination of these blouses with long trousers, which I find refreshingly different and quite contemporary. Shoes with heels go well with this, giving the look a good balance because they visually stretch.

    2) Oversized shirts with wide sleeves

We already know oversize looks from last year. They will remain with us in 2025, but will be styled a little differently. What the looks with oversized shirts from Stella McCartney and Vetements show: People are now mixing oversize pieces again to create garments that are more figure-hugging. Super cool: The button strips on the sleeves of the shirts remain open and are not rolled up. This creates overlong shirt sleeves that casually hug the wrists. Wonderfully casual!

    3) Striped blouses

Blouses with stripes are realand wearable agelessly. Simple and classic cut shirt blouses that are styled with trousers or a skirt are currently popular, see Duran Lantink. By the way: This catwalk look also shows you how you can wear a blouse even in colder temperatures: with a white turtleneck underneath!

    4) The Safari Blouse

Everyday life is sometimes a real adventure, what happens around you anyway. You don't have to go far to experience something. This could be expressed fashionably in 2025 with a stylish safari blouse. So a blouse that has a wide cut, a color like khaki or beige and large pockets at chest height. Elie Saab demonstrated how elegant such a blouse can look. If the blouse of your choice is also decorated with ribbons: please do not knot it or tie it into a bow, but wear it open without any complications.

    5) Shirts plus ties

If you wear a shirt with a tie, you have to be serious about this look, otherwise the whole thing won't work. How this could look absolutely stylish and cool at the same time, see Saint Laurent. The wide-leg trousers go perfectly with the shirt, and the retro glasses complete the look. Great with: a simple leather belt, sculptural arm jewelry, with heels and a blazer that, weather permitting, can be worn under the arm instead of a handbag.

With this layering principle, you can wear blouses and shirts even in winter

Because you definitely don't want to freeze in your blouse or shirt in winter: Be sure to wear one more textile layer than in spring or summer. So that means: For example, style a turtleneck shirt under your blouse. The latter is buttoned up to the top so that only the collar of thecan be seen.

It is also possible to wear a thin shirt made of a wool-silk blend or merino wool under the blouse. The top should not be visible and should be a light color such as cream or beige so that it does not show through.
