Small effort, big impact: The “Christmas tree in a glass” cocktail is the trend drink for the 2024 holidays
- Rosemary sprig
- Water
- (ideally colorless) cocktail or long drink of your choice, e.g. gin and tonic (alternatively, a non-alcoholic drink is also possible, e.g. mineral water with rosemary syrup or lemonade)
- 1 tbsp sugar and ¼ lemon for decoration purposes
- Fill the glass with about two centimeters of water.
- Shorten the rosemary sprig to the size of a glass and place it upside down in the middle of the glass. If necessary, fix it with a clothespin so that the branch does not fall over.
- Place the jar in the freezer for at least four hours.
- Remove the glass from the freezer, rub the rim with a piece of lemon and dip it in sugar.
- Fill the glass with your favorite cocktail or long drink, such as gin and tonic.
- If the drink is served in bulbous water glasses, it is reminiscent of a snow globe.
- For a little variety, you can place several rosemary sprigs in a glass.
- Drinkable, silver glitter powder conjures up shimmering snow crystals in the glass.
