Simply brilliant! “Crispy Apple” breakfast recipe - perfect for a Christmas brunch

This recipe is perfect for a cozy winter brunch: French toast rolls with apple and cinnamon filling

They're quick to make, incredibly delicious, and compliments from your guests are guaranteed. Ingredients (for 10 pieces): 2 apples, 10 slices of toast bread, ½ tbsp ground cinnamon, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 90 g sugar, 2 eggs, 50 ml milk, 100 g butter, 100 g quark. It's that easy: Peel, core and dice the apples into very small pieces, then simmer them with cinnamon and lemon juice. Remove the crust from the toast, roll it flat, put the apple mixture on top and roll it up. Whisk eggs with milk and dip the rolls in it, fry until golden brown, then roll in cinnamon-sugar. Optionally serve with quark or vanilla sauce – simply a heavenly treat!
