We have a recipe for a delicious mulled wine tiramisu for you that is easy to prepare and tastes simply heavenly.

If I could eat one dessert every day, it would be tiramisu. Admittedly, you probably shouldn't eat this delicious dessert every day, but Christmas is definitely one of the days of the year when you can treat yourself to a delicious tiramisu.

To make the dessert even more suitable for Christmas, we have modified the classic tiramisu a little. In our mulled wine Tiramisu, mulled wine and cinnamon meet classic ingredients such as ladyfingers and mascarpone.

And the best thing: The dessert is prepared in no time and only needs to be dusted with cocoa powder on Christmas Eve.

Recipe for a Christmas mulled wine tiramisu

Ingredients:

  • Mulled wine
  • 4 tbsp fruit jam (e.g. cherry or raspberry)
  • 250 g Mascarpone
  • 250 g low-fat quark
  • 50g powdered sugar
  • 1 TL Vanilleextrakt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 200 g ladyfingers
  • Cocoa powder

Preparation:

1. Mix the mascarpone, quark, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar and cinnamon in a bowl until creamy. Optionally, you can refine the cream with a little orange peel. Mix the fruit jam with a tablespoon of mulled wine.

2. Provide a suitable form (e.g. casserole dish). Dip the ladyfingers briefly in the remaining mulled wine (not too long so that they don't become soggy). Line the bottom of the mold with a layer of ladyfingers and drizzle with half of the jam and mulled wine mixture.

3. Spread half of the mascarpone cream evenly on top. Repeat the process with another layer of ladyfingers, jam and cream.

4. Let the tiramisu sit in the fridge for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight).

5. Dust with cocoa powder before serving. Optionally, you can sprinkle gingerbread or speculoos crumbs cut into small cubes on top.

Tipp:If children eat with you, you can replace the mulled wine with grape juice with mulled wine spices (is available here on Amazon*) substitute.

These crunchy, spiced treats not only complement the deep, spicy flavors of the mulled wine in the cream, but also add a pleasant texture that provides that extra something extra in every bite. Simply heavenly!
