- 200 g Butter biscuits
- some brandy
For the casting
- 150g powdered sugar
- 50 g baking cocoa
- 2 eggs (size M)
- 200 g Coconut fat
This is how easy it is to make a sheet cake:
1. Open the oven185 degrees top/bottom heatpreheat. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
2. Then separate the eggs. Beat the egg yolks with butter, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar and salt until fluffy. Stir in flour and baking powder. Finally, beat the egg white until stiff and carefully fold it into the dough. Spread this on the baking tray and bake for approx.20 minutesbake.
3. In the meantime, let's prepare the custard cream. To do this, prepare the pudding powder with sugar and milk according to the package instructions. Then place on a flat plate, cover with cling film and let cool.
4. As soon as the pudding is cold, beat the butter with a hand mixer (Shop here on Amazon*) beat until fluffy. Now stir the pudding into the butter one tablespoon at a time. Spread the finished cream on the cooled sponge cake base.
5. Then spread the butter biscuits over the cream and optionally brush with a little brandy. For an alcohol-free version, you can simply leave it out or replace it with a little milk or cherry juice.
6. Now all that's missing is the chocolate icing. To do this, melt the coconut oil over a water bath. Mix the powdered sugar and cocoa, stir in the eggs and liquid coconut oil. Then cover the cake with the thick mixture and let it solidify in the refrigerator. To serve, cut into equal pieces.
