Pop singer Madonna outraged by “NYT” portrait

Barely two days ago, the renowned American newspaper “New York Times” published an article entitled “Madonna at the age of 60”. Now the pop icon spoke out and announced on her Instagram page that she was outraged by her portrait in the NYT. The singer explained in her post that she felt like she was being raped and said she had the right to use that analogy since she herself was raped at the age of 19.

Pop singer Madonna is angry about the article in the New York Times

Madonna took the time to share her feelings and thoughts with her fans and the public on Instagram. She also explained why she was upset about it. The diva sat down with journalist Vanessa Grigoriadis several times and spent days, hours and months with her. But now she regrets that she even spent five minutes with the NYT author. The singer seems particularly outraged that Ms. Grigoriadis had exclusive access to her world and yet focused on rather superficial details in her article, such as the fabric of the curtains. Madonna also found the fact that the journalist spoke about the singer's age several times in poor taste. She said that no one would talk about her ageshe a man.
