Spring flowers wrapped in sticks
Showcase the colors of nature in a homemade vase made as follows:
- stick
- Flower tubes
- Blumendraht
- secateurs
- Yarn or a pretty ribbon
Tipp:As an alternative to the flower tubes and wire, you can also use a lantern and hot glue.
This is how you make the pretty flower vase:
- Cut the sticks to the desired length. They don't necessarily have to be exactly the same length to the millimeter.
- Tie the sticks together with the wire.
- Once you get the length you want, simply roll the whole thing up.Tip for the right length:It should be neither too tight nor too loose. The tubes should fit comfortably between the sticks, but also be well supported.
- Tie twine around the vase to decorate.
- Fill water into the tubes. A syringe is well suited for this.
- Distribute spring flowers in the flower tubes.
If you have decided on the lantern, simply glue the sticks around it with hot glue.
Make daffodils with sticks and egg carton
Children will enjoy this craft project just as much as adults. Cutjust the egg cartonand put the individual parts together. You can see exactly how below:
- Eiercarton
- yellow and orange acrylic paint
- Paint brush
- Hot glue
- thin stick or twig
And this is how it's done:
- For each flower you will need one and a half egg carton cups and one of the tips sticking up. Cut them out of the cardboard and cut the top off the egg carton top.
- Cut two cups four times and use the scissors to shape the resulting four flaps like flower petals.
- Divide one of the two petal shapes in the middle so that you get two pairs of leaves. Use one of these for the first flowering.
- Paint the elements with acrylic paint. Yellow is the base, then you can create a few accents with orange.
- As soon as the paint has dried, you can glue all the elements together: the tip goes on the petal shape and on the back you attach the pair of leaves and then the stick or branch.

- Glue or stick (and glue).now the Styrofoam ballon the Birkenstock.
- Create with the eggs and fill in the gaps with moss.
- Prune the arrangement by cutting off any excess moss. The beautiful decorative tree is ready!
Make small murals yourself using natural materials
You can come up with your own pictures and draw, paint or glue as you like. The project is ideal for children as well as adults who want to get creative or even make a homemade gift.
- Sticks of approximately the same length
- any image
- Wool in any color
- Glue
How to make the frame with sticks:
- The size of the frame should of course also match the image size. Therefore, if necessary, you can start designing the image.
- Glue with scraps of paper or other materials, draw with pencils and colored pencils, or paint with acrylics or watercolors and writesomething beautiful in calligraphyon paper or cardboard.
- If you're not that creative, you can also use oursPDF file with ready-made spring motifsDownload and cut out the images into a rectangle or square.
- Make the frame out of the sticks by tying them tightly together with wool. In the picture you can see how. To do this, you simply have to wrap the wool around the interfaces of the sticks in a cross shape.
- Once the frame is finished, stick the finished picture on its back. Complete.
- Feel free to decorate the frame with other things.
Craft with sticks for Valentine's Day - heart on canvas
A craft project couldn't be easier. You can customize it to suit your needs, for example by changing the colors or adding lettering and other decorations.
- sticks
- canvas
- Acrylic paint or fabric for dressing up
- Spray paint for the sticks
- Hot glue
- Garden scissors for cutting the sticks
How to make the picture as a Valentine's Day decoration or Valentine's Day gift:
- Design the canvas however you like. Paint them with acrylic paint or cover them with a beautiful fabric.
- While the paint is drying (if you used it), you can prepare the sticks for the heart before gluing them on. Arrange them in front of you and trim if necessary.
- Once you have the heart shape, glue the sticks together.
- Outdoors, spray paint the cane heart in your chosen color. This should dry fairly quickly.
- Glue the heart to the canvas.
- Add additional decorations, messages or similar if desired.
- You can hang the canvas on the wall or just lean it against it.
Mini shelf for bedroom or bathroom
Only three things you need to make this cuteBuild a shelfand none of it is craftsmanship. The project is so simple that anyone can try it out with a little patience - in any size.
1. Sticks and branches of different lengths:
- 4 long, preferably slightly curved, branches for the height of the shelf
- four or five sticks of approximately the same length for the shelves (perhaps more, depending on the thickness of the sticks), with each floor being shorter than the one below it
- How many floors you build is up to you and depends on the length of the vertical floors
2. Yarn for tying
3. Hot glue
And it's that easy to make a shelf with sticks:
- First, tie the vertical sticks together at the top. This will give you a better idea of how large you can make the individual levels.
- If necessary, cut the sticks for the shelves so that they are approximately the same length (it doesn't have to be perfect, as unevenness will make the decoration look even more natural later).
- Tie the outer sticks to the vertical ones by wrapping string or yarn in a cross pattern around the cut points. You can also do this step only on the visible side, i.e. on the front.
- Now glue more sticks between the outermost sticks to create a complete surface.
- Repeat the above step with the next, smaller layer further up.
A notice:Keep in mind that the shelf is not particularly stable and therefore cannot hold items that are too heavy. Rather, it serves decorative purposes and for one or two light objects (e.g. a powder compact, a bowl with rings, a semi-precious stone, etc.).
