When it comes to diamond painting, you can choose between square and round rhinestones. Because the round stones require less precision and are easier to set, they are ideal for beginners. The only disadvantage is that there is always a bit of space between the stones. The square diamonds, on the other hand, completely fill the canvas without any visible gaps. However, setting them requires a little more practice and precision than the round stones. But if you love challenges and are naturally precise, it's worth giving it a try. Diamond painting step by step instructions
Are you excited about diamond painting, but don't yet know exactly how it works? Then all you have to do is follow our step-by-step instructions and you're ready to go.
- First, place all materials on a flat surface and make sure everything is easily accessible. To work comfortably, you will need a lot of space.
- Look carefully at the table on the canvas and choose a color to start.
- So that you have all the glitter stones quickly to hand, place them in the small compartment provided. It is also important that the diamonds lie with the flat side down.
- Carefully peel off a piece of protective film from the canvas where you want to start. To prevent the canvas from drying out, you should not remove the entire film at once.
- Now take a small stone with the pen and carefully place it in the appropriate field. You can adjust the diamonds that don't fit well with tweezers.
- Apply the stones starting at the bottom corner of the design and carefully work your way up the canvas.
- When you are completely finished with the picture, press all the diamonds through the protective film. The best way to do this is with a large book or rolling pin.
- Now simply frame your beautiful diamond painting and hang it proudly on the wall!
