You will need the following materials:

– Glasreiniger
– Motif templates
– Colored cardboard in different colors (preferably in autumnal greens and light browns and reds).
– Stickkleber
- Pencil
- Scissors
– Colored pencils or felt-tip pens
– thread

Use window paints

This is how it works: Clean the glass pane with a soft cloth soaked in glass cleaner. Print out the craft template and apply the outlines to the colored cardboard. Once it is transferred to the cardboard, you or the children cut itchoose the motif and paint itit with colored pencils. You can then stick the motifs directly onto a window pane.

A tip: The color will be darker if the paper is glued twice. If the motif is to be visible both outside and inside, window pictures should ideally be made on both sides.

Make simple stickers for children with window paint

Cut out the motifs - e.g. leaves - from the cardboard. Use a needle to make a small hole in the top of each leaf and thread a thread through it. Then knot the two ends together and cut off the excess thread. Then attach the garland to the pane or window frame with adhesive film. The advantage: the adhesive film remains almost invisible on glass and can be easily torn off.

If you don't have paper or craft instructions, there's another great alternative to making window decorations -paint colorful pictures. Painting is also much easier than crafting - even small children can join in. Special chalk markers are suitable for painting window pictures - the motifs painted with these pens can be wiped off with a damp cloth. Alternatively, you can paint a window picture with watercolor or window paint / finger paint. You have to make sure that the watercolor covers well. Color motifs can be removed from the window just as quickly!
