Cool Christmas card with a reindeer thumbprint

After doing a small test in a hidden area, gently guide your child to dip their thumb into the paint and press it onto paper or cardstock. You can't go wrong with an orange or brown shade here. After the thumbprints are dry, you can help the children decorate each individual reindeer with a red nose, eyes and antlers to decorate the card with charming reindeer.

Cut out a triangle from the green construction paper. Have the children punch two holes near the tip of the triangle, about a thumb's width apart. Instruct them to drill two more holes underneath, but this time at a greater distance. After that, they can do this two or three more times. Then help your children lace up by weaving a ribbon through the top two holes. Together with the kids, attach the bow by threading the ribbon through the remaining holes. Then you can help them glue the green triangle onto a folded card that they can decorate however they like.

For this card you will need colored paper, some cotton wool, colored pencils and a paper plate. Cut out a face and a beard for Santa Claus from the plate, and use the paper to create a triangular part that forms the body. You can decorate your Santa Claus however you like.
