First, just put the panes together and on top of each other before gluing them in place so that you can make any changes. Start with two individual slices on the left and right. Place two wooden discs next to each other and let them protrude inwards. Now you can roughly estimate whether the distance between these two parts is OK so that you can complete the arch. If not, adjust them.
Glue all the wooden slices together and place the candle on the top one. You can now use it as a guide when attaching the remaining decorations.Fir branches are suitable, pine cones, berries, snowflakes or whatever else comes to mind.

You can also make such a wreath using a similar principle. Place two slices side by side and another where they touch. Keep doing this in turn. Again, it is advisable to just put everything together before gluing.

Drill a hole in one of two discs. Paint both with white paint and paint the face on the disc with the hole. Then glue the slices together and use a piece of fabric to create a scarf. Make the arms for the snowman out of white pipe cleaners and glue them to the back.
