If you would like to create a snow landscape that will put everyone in the winter and Christmas spirit, there are a variety of options. What looks quite complicated at first is actually really easy to do and can be adapted to your ideas. A display case for Christmas can be designed individually and include a wide variety of themes and motifs. Our first one is relatively simple, but still beautifulExample with fir treesand fairy lights, which create a special atmosphere thanks to the pleasant light. You can make this winter landscape in the following ways:

You can use the showcase with a glass wall or simply leave the glass out. If you want to close it with the glass pane, you should attach the battery part with the power button of the fairy lights to the back so that you can easily switch them on and off. To do this, you can drill a hole in the lower area of the back wall (so that it will later be hidden by the snow), through which you can then thread the fairy lights. Then distribute the cotton wool. You can create different levels, i.e. small hills. In some places you can also fix the cotton wool with hot glue. Then add the Christmas trees. Once you are happy with the arrangement, you can glue this in place too. Finallyarrange the fairy lightsand you're done.
Make your own winter landscape with a car
Get a car from the toy store and use it for such a cute idea. The car carrying the future Christmas tree on its roof is a popular Christmas motif. That's why it's also suitable for your own winter landscapein the boxvery good. When buying, make sure you choose a car that fits in the box. Then you can get started and create the winter landscape.

All you have to do is tie a tree to the roof of the car, spread some snow in the box and then put more trees and the car inside. Craft winter landscapes depending on the figures available
Sometimes the ideas only come to you after searching for the materials. So you can also adapt your snow landscape to the figures you can find. What do we mean by that? In the example above you can see Santa Claus with skis. Accordingly, a ski landscape is just the right idea to use the figure. Cut the piece of Styrofoam depending on how high you want the hill to be. Then you can stick it in the box and hide it under a blanket of snow. For example, stick cotton wool all around or cover the Styrofoam with a white, fluffy cloth. Then you can place the figure on the hill and place a few Christmas trees here and there. If you wish, add more decorations. The pompoms, which represent little snowballs, are also very cute.
Make a winter landscape in a hexagonal box
Squares and rectangles are typical shapes for display cases, but that doesn't mean that the selection is limited to just that. The hexagon is a modern and trendy shape that is used in many ways in furnishings,be it for tiles, patterns or decorations. That's why you can of course also choose this shape if you're making a winter landscape in a box. And with a little skill, you can even build one yourself if you can't find one in stores.
The example was decorated with a retro caravan on which a Christmas tree was tied as well as two other trees, cotton wool as snow and in the open area with a chain of lights, which shows off the arrangement well even in the evening hours.
Make a winter landscape in a shoebox
Have you not found a display case or would you like to create a snow landscape spontaneously and quickly? Then take out all the empty shoe boxes, choose a suitable size and you can create a winter landscape in them. To do this, you can first paint the box or stick motif paper inside for a nice background.
Since the material is very easy to make, you can not only distribute a string of lights inside, but also poke holes in the back wall and insert a single light through each hole. How to avoid the wire in your landscape. You can also stick a little cotton wool on the light bulbs. Then they look like glowing snowflakes. The fox figure is also very pretty.
Winter wonderland in the lid
Have you chosen a winter wonderlandin a shoeboxdecided, but don't need a lot of space for your idea, you can also simply use the lid. Of course, the lids of other boxes are also suitable. If you paint it with chalkboard paint, you can then even write anything on the back wall. Simply leave enough free space and design the landscape at the edges. In the example, the edge was decorated with artificial pine green and the snow was filled with cotton wool. There are also any figures and, if necessary, a Christmas tree.
Snow landscape in a rustic wooden box
This campfire landscape is a great alternative to the snow landscape, but you can of course also make a winter landscape in a wooden box. The box was discreetly decorated with sprayed snow and an LED tea light in a lid and sticks were used to imitate a campfire. In addition, sticks can also be decorated with white pompoms to imitate marshmallows.
The wooden pieces in turn represent small stools. Instead of artificial Christmas trees, you can also use real onesFir green for decoratinguse. To do this, holes were drilled into pieces of wood and the pine branches were inserted into them. You can then spread artificial snow around it. The idea for the background is also very clever. A clipboard is suitable for displaying a message or greeting that can be exchanged at any time.
Silhouettes of villages, cities and forest landscapes
Such landscapes are also a real eye-catcher and often decorate the windows during the Christmas season. Designed from three rows, an effective 3D image is created in the display case, which you can additionally illuminate by distributing fairy lights between the layers. You can cut the landscapes yourself using templates and a sharp craft knife. You can find a few such templates with instructionsin this article.
Create a hilly landscape with modeling clay
Place the display case in front of you with the glass down and the open back. Use modeling clay to create a beautiful hilly landscape. You form these directly in the frame, but leave enough space between them and the glass so that you can then fill artificial snow in between. In this way the unsightly modeling clay is hidden.
You can also make stands for the Christmas trees out of modeling clay. Then design the back wall as you wish (for example with stickers like this). In the instructions you will also see how you can incorporate the fairy lights into the landscape from behind. Poke holes through the cardboard and then insert the lights through them.
