To create a beautiful natural table decoration, first cover the table with a burlap table runner and arrange two birch trunks on it. Gather grasses and shrubs and place them in a glass vase in the middle of the table. Fill wood bark with small sticks, moss and whatever else you can find and place some tea lights on top. Of course, sauces such as ketchup, mayo and mustard should not be missing at a party. To serve these you can again use some mason jars. Here's an idea how to decorate the glasses with a bandana.
Start by cutting your bandanas into four pieces and trimming the edges. Then cut these four squares into triangles as shown above. Before cutting, make sure the long edge fits around the top of your mason jar.
Then add the cut triangles to the tops of the mason jars as shown. Attach them with hot glue. Mark the sauces with matching tags. Write the contents of the jar on the sign with a marker before tying it around your neck.
Then simply place all the jars in a wooden box, fill each of the jars with the selected sauce and add the sauce box to your buffet table.

If the barbecue party takes place in the evening, then you also have to have oneappropriate lightingponder. Here's a super easy last minute idea that's perfect for the table. For these simple lanterns you only need empty mason jars of any size and a few tea lights. If you wish, you can also hang the lanterns above the table, for example on a tree.
DIY cooler for drinks
A drinks cooler is essential for the summer barbecue party. Here you will find some original ideas that you can make yourself as an alternative to purchased coolers.
You will need two buckets, one larger than the other. When doing this, make sure the smaller one fits inside the larger one, with plenty of space between them. You will also need flowers and a few stones to weigh down the smaller bucket.
Fill the bottom of the larger bucket with water, about two inches. Freeze the bucket for a few hours until the water hardens. Once frozen, remove from freezer.
Place several rocks in the smaller bucket so that it stays in place when you add water to the outer bucket. Place the container filled with rocks in the center of the large bucket, directly on top of the hardened ice. Cut the stems of the flowers and begin pushing them down, paying attention to your position and color choice. Fill the outer bucket with water to about an inch below the top. Place back in the freezer and freeze overnight.
Run water over the entire mold and ice to loosen the sides of both the outer and inner buckets. They should come off fairly easily after 15 or 30 seconds. Pour in your chilled bottle of wine immediately and enjoy the view!
Make your own drinks tub
If you want to cool several bottles at the same time, you can make a large drinks tub for the barbecue party yourself. This way, cold drinks are always at hand at the party and the tub can still function as a great decorative accent.
All you need is a large container that you decorate as desired and fill with ice cubes. For example, you can use a tub, a wooden box, a wooden barrel or as in the example abovea wheelbarrowuse. The whole thing looks even more beautiful if you decorate the tub with some flowers or other decorations.
