Halloween finger food: banana mummies
For the next sweet dessert you need the following ingredients:
2 or 3 ripe bananas
500 g white chocolate (melted)
Toothpicks or ice cream sticks
Chocolate chips
500 ml water
Preparation:
1. First carefully cut the bananas in half, then place them on the ice cream sticks/toothpicks. Place on baking paper and freeze for 2 hours.
2. Meanwhile, fill a deep pot 1/4 full with water and bring the water to the boil. Then remove the pot from the heat. Chop the white chocolate and place it in a porcelain or metal bowl, place the bowl in the pot and, stirring constantly, let the chocolate melt.
3. Dip the bananas in the white chocolate and place them on baking paper. Then place two chocolate chips as eyes on each banana. Freeze in the fridge for 15 minutes.
4. Then decorate the bananas with the remaining white chocolate so that they look like mummies.
Spiders from olives
As an appetizer you can serve “spiders” made from olives with rosemary. You only need a few ingredients: pitted green olives, rosemary and toothpicks. If you wish, you can also buy stuffed olives. Together with cheese, carrots or ham they become the perfect appetizer.
First poke holes in the olives along the two opposite sides.
Then stick a rosemary leaf into each hole so that the olive looks like a spider.
