Flower pots usually decorate the patio, but how about displaying them in the middle of the garden instead? But instead of just randomly placing them on the lawn, you canwith the help of palletsand display wooden boxes even better.

By stacking them, you can create a decoration at several heights. You can also add any baskets and fill them with flowers or pumpkins, apples and other autumnal elements. Apples from the garden that are unsuitable for storage due to injuries can be used for creative decorative elements: Make moss balls using a large Styrofoam ball, moss and the apples. The apples can be stuck into the Styrofoam with toothpicks after wrapping the ball with moss and floral wire.

Zinc tubs are not only a popular container for planting in autumn, but because of the connection to old times they are simply wonderful for creating autumnal nostalgia. Choose your favorite flowers and create a colorful autumnal arrangement. You can also get green plants or even ornamental cabbagea nice tub, which will attract everyone's attention.

It is important that you add drainage before planting so that no backwater forms. This causes the roots to rot, which means the flowers die sooner or later. You can easily create a drainage layer by spreading pebbles or shards of pottery, for example, on the bottom of the zinc tub (feel free to be a little more generous with the thickness of the layer) before filling it with potting soil. Alternatively, you could also drill drainage holes in the floor.

Decorate around trees

It's actually not that rare anymore to place decorations around the tree trunks. It is one of the most popular outdoor ideas. Times areplanted flowers, sometimes planted pots or one or two garden figures. However, you can also redesign these areas for each season and use decorations for this purpose that you can easily replace afterwards.

In the example you can see an idea with numerous pumpkins in different shapes, colors and sizes, combined with flowers in pots and artificial sunflowers. Just pretty, right?

By the way, you could also use other plants in the garden for this idea. If the tree is already occupied or you don't have one that is suitable, you can choose dried-out ornamental grasses or shrubs instead, regardless of whether they are in a bed or in a container.
