Making a Christmas arrangement – ​​the simple instructions

  • Dip the floral foam in water according to the manufacturer's instructions so that it can absorb.
  • Then place it on a suitable surface on which the arrangement will remain later.

  • Use suitable pliers to cut branches to the desired length. It is best that these also have a few branches so that the arrangement becomes more lush.
  • Insert the branches into the floral foam at the sides, starting from the bottom. To do this, remove some of the needles beforehand to leave a bare branch to pin.
  • Place the candle in the center (or place a candle holder on the floral foam if you are not using a ring) and cut off the rose petal heads with a long enough stem.

  • Cut the floral foam to fit the wooden box. It should also stick out a little from the top of the box.
  • Let the floral foam stand in water for a while so that it can soak up. Please follow the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Line the box with foil. The purpose of this is to ensure that the wood is not damaged by the moisture from the foam.

  • Place the cut floral foam and insert the candle holders as desired. You can also put the candles inside if you want.
  • Cut pine branches to size and then insert them all around in the floral foam. Remember to leave enough space in between for the other decorations, but also not to make the arrangement too bare.
