Summer flowers for graves with a long flowering period for sun, partial shade or shade

Summer brings with it some challenges when it comes to planting in the cemetery. We can no longer rely on sufficient rainfall, the sun shines strongly and it is not uncommon for Germany to have winds that dry out the earth even faster. Despite all of these “problems”, we still want a beautiful grave planting with colorful flowers. Which summer flowers are recommended for graves?

Luckily, the choice for the sunny season is quite large and is only limited by the time you can invest in care. For example, choose from the following summer flowers for graves.

One of the unbeatable long-term bloomers is the bright Pacific daisy(Ajania pacifica). Its flowering period begins as early as April, but don't think that that means it only partially decorates the summer with its flowers. It lasts until October and is therefore also suitable for the transition between spring and summer and summer andAutumn is simply wonderful. As if that wasn't enough, the foliage is also wintergreen, so that it decorates urn graves, single graves or double graves even during the cold season at temperatures down to minus 15 degrees.
