The powerful household remedy duo vinegar/baking soda should not be underestimated when cleaning the oven. For brilliant results, you can use another home remedy - good old aluminum foil.
What you need:
- 200 ml hot water or vinegar
- Baking powder or baking soda
- Aluminum foil
Directions:
- Open the oven door and pour hot water or white vinegar over the inner pane.
- Sprinkle baking soda on top until the disk is completely covered. (Alternatively, you can make a thick paste of water and baking soda and brush it on the window.) Then let it take effect for about 30 seconds.
- Form a ball out of aluminum foil and scrub in a circular motion for 1-2 minutes.
- Use a damp paper towel and wipe off the excess.
- The baking soda will leave streaks, so wipe it off again with water.

It makes sense that these powerful cleaning agents also work on grease and burnt-in stains in the oven. Additionally, the tabs have an abrasive surface that helps remove buildup but is gentle enough not to scratch the oven glass.
All you need is one or two dishwashing tablets and a bowl of warm water.But note:Not all dishwasher tablets are suitable for this purpose. You should use the pressed powder tablets and not the gel capsules that contain liquid.

- Remove the foil packaging and briefly dip half the tab into warm water. Hold the tablet in the water long enough for it to soak up a little, but not so long that it starts to crumble.
- Use the tablet to scrub stubborn stains. You don't need a sponge.
