Advent cake from tin
You don't necessarily have to have a springform pan to bake an Advent cake. In this case, you can use the basic sponge cake recipe and then modify the cake. By the way, all of the Advent cake recipes in today's post can also be prepared in a baking tray. If you use fruit in a glass, always drain it well first, otherwise the dough will be too runny. If you use dry fruits, first put them in a bowl and pour hot water over them. Leave the fruit for about 15 minutes.
Line the baking tray with baking paper and spread the dough evenlyon the sheet metaland smooth it out. Bake the cake for about 30 minutes (the cake from the tray is significantly thinner than the one in a springform pan, so the baking time is shorter). You can then spread the cake with chocolate icing and garnish with fresh fruit of your choice.
