Bento Cakes: The basic recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 Owner
- 1 egg yolk
- 100g sugar
- 25g butter, unsalted and melted
- 45g vegetable oil
- 85 g Flour
- 15 g Maismehl
- 1 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla sugar
Mix the ingredients for the cake base and bake the cake base in a round mini springform pan with a diameter of 10 cm for 15 minutes at 160° Celsius.
For the buttercreamMix 140 g beaten egg whites with 70 g sugar and 210 g unsalted butter and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla sugar. Color the buttercream with food coloring and assemble the cake on a turntable. Then use the remaining buttercream to spread. Use a dough card or butter knife for this purpose. The turntable allows for even spreading and is very important for a successful end result, especially with round cakes. Decorate and label the cake as desired.
Line a hamburger box with cake wrapping paper and wrap the cake.
