Preparation:

1. Pour sugar, wine and 250 ml water into a deep pot. Add the vanilla pulp and bring the ingredients to the boil briefly, then simmer over medium heat for about 5 - 6 minutes until the sugar has dissolved.

2. Cut a slice out of the bottom of each pear, “straightening” it so that they can stand. Then place the fruit in the pot and drizzle with the sauce. The sauce should cover them completely. Reduce the heat and simmer for 40 minutes until the fruit begins to soften.

3. Remove the pear from the pot, let it cool and pour the hot sauce over it. Arrange the plates, garnishing the fruit with the whipped cream.

Fruity Spanish-style Christmas dessert

  • 2 bananas
  • 2 handfuls of grapes (seedless variety)

  • 240 ml condensed milk
  • 240 ml coconut milk
  • 240 ml Crème fraîche
  • 14 g Gelatin powder (zB from Dr. Oetker)

Preparation:

1. Cut the bananas into slices and strawberries into pieces, halve the grapes and dice the apples. Place the fruit in a rectangular container and chill.

2. Put the liquid ingredients (condensed milk, coconut milk, crème fraîche and gelatin) in a bowl and mix well. You can first dissolve the gelatin powder in a little warm milk and only then pour it into the bowl. Stir well.

3. Take the fruit out of the fridge, pour the milk mixture over it and chill for 2 hours. Cut just before serving and garnish with whipped cream.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pineapple, diced

Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven. Arrange a baking tray with baking paper, place the pineapple on it and bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Turn 1 – 2 times. Then remove from the oven and set aside. Meanwhile, preheat the ginger wine in a small saucepan for 5 minutes.

2. Divide the chocolate cake and speculaas into 8, then crumble into glasses. Pour over the ginger wine and decorate with the pineapple. Chill the glasses.

3. Puree the mango, mix the whipped cream with the passion fruit seeds.

4. Take the glasses out of the fridge, layer the mango, whipped cream and passion fruit seeds. Chill the jars again and then let them steep for 6 hours.
