  1. Pour a cup of water into a pot and add the sugar. Bring the water to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer for a minute until the sugar has dissolved. Stir occasionally.
  2. Remove the pot from the heat. In the meantime theSqueeze oranges(leave 1 – 2 pieces for garnish). Pour the liquid into a bowl, cover with cling film and leave to freeze in the freezer.
  3. Remove the bowl from the freezer and puree until creamy. Pour into ice cream molds and cover with cling film. Put back in the freezer.
  4. About 20 minutes before serving, remove the bowl from the freezer. Serve the ice cream with chilled oranges.

Make your own nut ice cream: recipe with walnuts

A balanced taste, creamy yet crunchy - the next nut ice cream recipe has everything you could wish for. Here are the necessary ingredients:

  • 240 ml maple syrup
  • 480 ml whipped cream
  • 240 ml condensed milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 200 g walnuts (or other nuts of your choice)

Preparation:

  1. Pour the maple syrup into a medium-sized saucepan and bring to the boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat and simmer for another 3 – 4 minutes until the juice thickens.
  2. Pour the whipped cream and condensed milk into the pot, add salt and bring to the boil briefly. Then remove the pot from the heat.
  3. In the meantime, crush the nuts with a mortar and add them to the milk mixture. Boil for about 10 minutes.
  4. Place the eggs in a bowl and whisk. Stirring constantly and very slowly, pour 1/3 of the liquid in the pot into the eggs in a thin stream. Then put the egg mixture back into the pot and beat the whole thing until foamy.
  5. Over low heat and stirring constantly, heat the egg mixture to a maximum of 75° Celsius (but do not bring it to the boil). The egg mixture should thicken slightly after a few minutes.
  6. Strain the liquid through a strainer cloth, pour into a bowl and place in the freezer. Allow to freeze for about 3 to 4 hours. Every 30 minutes, take the bowl out of the freezer and stir the ice cream mixture well.
  7. Then cover the ice cream with cling film and let it freeze.
  8. Garnish with toasted walnuts and then serve.

Make your own quick yogurt ice cream

Who said desserts were unhealthy? The next recipe is definitive proof to the contrary. You can choose fruits depending on the season and your own preferences. Use Greek yogurt. The ingredients are as follows:

  • 250 ml Greek yogurt
  • 4 handfuls of frozen fruit
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 3 tablespoons honey (to taste)/peanut butter, Nutella, grated chocolate, etc. to garnish and sweeten

Preparation:

  1. Pour all ingredients into the bowl of a blender and puree until creamy, about 5 minutes.
