Strawberry pretzel dessert – recipe for the perfect summer dessert!

So that you don't just enjoy the fruits on their own, we have an extremely delicious recipe for you that will sweeten your summer nights! The strawberry pretzel dessert consists of a delicious pretzel crust and a light filling made of fresh strawberries, gelatin and whipped cream. So if you are also a fan of combining sweet and salty, you should definitely try it. The crust is also suitable for many other pies and cakes and with the choice of fruit, there are no limits to your imagination.

Strawberry Pretzel Dessert Recipe – Fruity Cheesecake

Ingredients for the pretzel base:

  • 250 grams of pretzels
  • 40 grams of sugar
  • 150 Gramm Butter

Filling strawberry pretzel dessert:

  • 500 ml whipped cream
  • 500 grams of cream cheese
  • 150 grams of sugar

Topping:

  • 700 grams of fresh strawberries or frozen if you want to prepare the dessert in winter
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 2 packs of strawberry flavored cake icing
  • 500 ml hot water

How to prepare the cake – The base

  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
  • Place the pretzels in a freezer bag and crumble them finely with a rolling pin. If you don't have a rolling pin, you can smash them by hand.
  • Mix the pretzel crumbs together with the sugar and soft butter.
  • Spread the mixture evenly in a 30x20 cm baking dish.
  • Bake the pretzel crust for about 10 minutes or until it turns golden brown. Allow to cool completely.

The cream for the strawberry cake

  • Beat the whipped cream until stiff with a hand mixer.
  • Mix the cream cheese with the sugar until smooth.
  • Carefully fold in the cream mixture and distribute the mixture evenly over the cooled base.
  • Chill for at least 2 hours.

Strawberry topping preparation:

  • Wash strawberries, remove the stalk and quarter them.
  • Bring the cake icing to the boil with 500 ml of water and immediately mix in the fruit and sugar.
  • Chill for about 1 hour.
  • Pour the topping onto the cream cheese mixture and refrigerate for another 4 hours.

Low carb recipe with strawberries

Even if you follow a low carb or keto diet, that doesn't mean you should give up this treat. The only thing you should do is replace the pretzels with almond flour and nuts. The filling and topping remain unchanged, but use sugar insteada sugar substitute such as stevia or erythritol.

Ingredients:

  • 100 grams of almond flour
  • 120 grams chopped pecans
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 60 grams butter, melted

Preparation:

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  • Stir everything well and distribute evenly in a baking pan.
  • Bake until golden brown, about 20 minutes and allow to cool completely

Strawberry pretzel dessert in a glass

  • 500 grams of strawberries
  • 150 grams of pretzels, crumbled
  • 80 grams butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 300 grams of cream cheese
  • 200 grams of low-fat quark

Preparation:

  • Mix the pretzels with the butter, place in glasses and chill.
  • Mix cream cheese, quark and sugar until smooth.
  • Cut the strawberries into small pieces and add them to the pretzels. Then add the quark topping and finally decorate with fresh berries.

Delicious strawberry ice cream with pretzel flavor

Ingredients:

  • 200 grams of fresh or thawed, frozen strawberries
  • 50 grams of pretzels, crumbled
  • 1 pack of gelatin
  • 300 grams of whipped cream
  • 150 ml whole milk
  • 50 grams of sugar

Preparation:

  • Puree strawberries finely in a blender.
  • Put the puree together with the sugar and gelatin in a bowl and mix everything together.
  • Add the whole milk and stir well with a whisk until smooth.
  • Add the whipped cream and stir everything well again.
  • Freeze the mixture in an ice cream maker according to the operating instructions.
  • Garnish with crumbled pretzels.

Heavenly delicious strawberry pretzel cupcakes

Crust ingredients:

  • 180 grams of pretzel crumbs
  • 70 grams butter, melted
  • 50 grams of sugar

Cupcakes:

  • 150 grams of sugar
  • 1 pack of gelatin
  • 100 grams butter, room temperature
  • 250 grams of flour

  • 1 THE Backpulver
  • 220 ml whole milk, room temperature
  • 150 grams of strawberries, pureed in a blender

Preparation:

  • Mix all the ingredients for the crust together well, distribute into muffin tins and bake for 5 minutes at 200 degrees.
  • Mix sugar, butter and gelatine until creamy. Gradually add eggs and beat until creamy.
  • Put the flour and baking powder in a bowl and slowly pour in the mixture. Add strawberries.
  • Divide the mixture between the molds and bake for another 20 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
  • If desired, you can decorate the strawberry pretzel cupcakes with regular icing.
