Ingredients:
- 10 figs, halved
- 300 g grapes, seedless
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 ½ tablespoons virgin olive oil (divided)
- 2 tablespoons honey (divided)
- 1 block of Greek feta
- ½ to 1 teaspoon pepper
- 4 to 5 sprigs of fresh thyme
- Baguette, sliced and toasted (for serving)
Instructions for preparation:
- For this dish, preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius.
- Spread the figs and grapes on a baking tray and dress with balsamic vinegar, 2 tablespoons of olive oil and half of the honey. Bake for eight minutes.
- Add the feta and drizzle with the remaining olive oil, honey and Aleppo pepper. Add the thyme on top.
- Bake in the oven for another 15 minutes, until the grapes have burst and the figs are soft.
- Remove the figs and grapes from the baking sheet and place on a serving platter.
- Grill the baking sheet with the feta for three to five minutes, until the feta is browned on top.
- Add the feta to the serving platter with the grapes and figs. If necessary, drizzle the feta with a little more honey.
- Serve with baguette slices. Enjoy!
Baked feta with green olives and figs

- 240 g Greek feta block cheese
- 10 figs, stemmed and halved
- 120 g pitted olives
- 50g (4 tablespoons) olive oil
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon fresh tarragon
- Cracked black pepper, to taste
Instructions for preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- In a medium-sized baking dish, place the feta cheese block and arrange the olives and figs around the feta block.
- Drizzle the feta and ingredients with olive oil, then sprinkle over the lemon zest, tarragon and a few grinds of black pepper.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then grill on high for another 5 minutes. The feta should be soft and the figs should be slightly caramelized.
- Carefully remove the dish from the oven and let it cool slightly. Serve the baked feta with figs and green olives warm with crackers or bread.
