But don't worry - in principle, a few hours will be enough so that you can prepare the dessert that same morning.

Classic mandarin tiramisu with Grand Marnier

Ingredients:

  • 12 Clementine's
  • 100 g Feinzucker
  • 3 THE Grand Marnier
  • 6 Owner
  • 6 EL Feinzucker
  • 500g mascarpone cheese
  • 400 g ladyfingers
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa powder

Preparation:

1. Squeeze the clementines and mix the juice with 100 g sugar and the Grand Marnier. Heat the juice in a saucepan and bring to the boil over medium heat. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely.

2. Crack the eggs and separate the yolks from the whites. Mix the egg yolks with the sugar (6 tablespoons) with an electric hand mixer until a creamy mixture is formed. Add the mascarpone and stir.

3. In a separate dry bowl, beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until fluffy and fluffy. Do not overwork it, otherwise the mixture will be too liquid. Fold the egg whites into the mascarpone cream using a silicone spatula.

4. Prepare a glass mold (22x30 cm) with a high edge to allow for multiple layers. Dip the ladyfingers one at a time in the clementine juice for a few seconds (only once on each side), carefully squeezing out the liquid and being careful not to crumble them.

5. Carefully place the biscuits in the mold to create a bottom layer. Cover with a layer of cream, then place more ladyfingers on top. Cover with a second layer of cream. If you still have enough biscuits/juice/cream left, add a third layer.

6. Cover the glass dish with cling film and place in the fridge overnight. Before serving, dust the mandarin tiramisu with cocoa powder and decorate as desired.

Optional:

  • Add a layer of tangerine slices and decorate the dessert with them too.
  • Sprinkle shaved chocolate over each sponge layer to add texture to the tiramisu.

Simple recipe for mandarin tiramisu in a glass with speculoos

Ingredients for 6 dessert glasses:

  • 250 g Mascarpone

  • 4 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 TL for Van
  • 9 tangerines or clementines
  • 200 g speculoos cookies

Preparation:

1. Separate the egg whites from the yolks and mix the mascarpone with the egg yolks, sugar and vanilla until a creamy consistency is achieved.

2. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and then carefully fold them into the mascarpone cream.

3. Take the juice from 5 tangerines, peel the other 4 and cut them into quarters.

Ingredients for 8 desserts:

For the caramelized tangerines:

  • 100 g Feinzucker
  • 6 tangerines, peeled and cut into 3 slices each
  • 25g walnuts

For the tiramisu:

  • 1 tbsp coffee granules (or 200 ml freshly brewed coffee)
  • 8 ladyfingers
  • 200 g Mascarpone
  • 200 ml Doppelrahm (Crème double)
  • 100 g natural yogurt
  • 100 g Feinzucker
  • 75 ml Dessertwein, z. B. Marsala
  • 100 g walnuts, roughly chopped

Preparation:

1. For the caramelized tangerines, place the sugar and 150 ml water in a medium-sized saucepan and heat gently until the sugar has dissolved. Bring to a boil and simmer for 4-5 minutes until pale caramelized in color. Remove from heat and add 100ml boiling water.

2. Place the tangerine slices with the walnuts in a shallow bowl and pour the caramel sauce over them. Set aside to cool.

3. In the meantime, dissolve the coffee in 200 ml of boiling water and allow to cool.

4. Dip the ladyfingers into the cooled coffee and place in the bottom of 8 dessert glasses or bowls.

5. Mix the mascarpone, cream, yogurt and sugar in a large bowl and stir in the wine. Stir in the walnuts, then pour the cream over the sponge cake bases and refrigerate the dessert for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight.

6. Just before serving, garnish with the caramelized tangerine slices and a few walnuts.
