Jam cookies with raspberries
These cookies are crispy and delicious, with a center of sweet and sour raspberry jam that becomes slightly chewy and almost caramelized when baked. They look like some cute little buttons that could easily match Santa's red coat.

Ingredients:
- 150 g wheat flour
- 50g sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 100 g kalte Butter
- 1 egg yolk
- 3 tbsp raspberry jam
Preparation:
- Mix the wheat flour, sugar and vanilla sugar in a bowl and add the butter.
- Mix the dough with the egg yolk.
- Roll it into small balls the size of a walnut. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and press a small indentation into each ball with your finger.
- Fill a piping bag or freezer bag with the jam, cut a small hole in it and pipe the jam into the holes in the cookies. The jam can also be applied with a teaspoon, but then it will be a little more difficult to hit the small indentations.
- Bake the cookies at 190°C for 10-12 minutes until they are lightly golden.
- Let them cool on the baking rack.
Bake your own star cookies with jam
These jam cookies make a great Christmas gift or simply to enjoy with your morning coffee.

Ingredients:
- 200 g butter, at room temperature
- 80g powdered sugar
- 80 ml honey
- 340 g flour, sifted
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1/3 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp milk
- 230 g strawberry jam
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Preparation:
- Line two baking sheets with baking paper. Beat the butter and powdered sugar in a bowl with an electric mixer. Add the honey and beat until well combined.
- Place the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and milk in a bowl. Add the butter mixture. Knead until a dough begins to form. Place the dough on a well-floured surface. Knead gently until the dough is smooth. Divide in half and wrap each portion in plastic wrap. Place the two portions in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 160°C. Using a well-floured rolling pin, roll out a portion of dough to 5 mm thick on a floured surface.
- Using an 8cm star cookie cutter, cut out cookies from a portion of dough. Place these on the prepared trays. Bake the two trays together for 10-12 minutes, switching them halfway through the baking time. Leave thatCookies on the trayCool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Use the 8 cm star cookie cutter to cut cookies out of the remaining dough. Using a 4cm star cookie cutter, cut out small stars in the center of each unbaked star. Place these on the prepared trays and bake them together again for 10-12 minutes. Change the trays halfway through the baking time. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes and then completely on a wire rack.
- Warm the jam in a small saucepan over low heat. Cook, stirring, 2 to 3 minutes or until liquid. Pour the jam through a fine sieve. Place 1 teaspoon of jam in the center of each whole star and coat lightly. Top with the cut out star cookies. Set them aside for 30 minutes to set. Serve them sprinkled with powdered sugar.
Ribbon cookies with jam
These delicious cookies go by many different names: Bow Ties, Kolache, Kolachy, Polish Cream Cheese Cookies, and Jam Cookies, but one thing is for sure - they taste great!

Ingredients:
- 30 g cream cheese, softened
- 30g butter, softened
- 75g powdered sugar
- 1/2 TL for Van
- 70 g Flour
- 160 g raspberry jam
- 1 egg white
- 1 tbsp water
- Powdered sugar for dusting the cookies
Preparation:
- Mix the cream cheese and butter together in a bowl.
- Mix in the powdered sugar and vanilla.
- Mix in the flour. Beat until all the flour is incorporated into the dough.
- Divide the dough in half. Wrap each half in cling film and flatten to 3cm thickness.
- Place the two halves in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- When you're ready to bake, work with one half of the dough at a time.
- Place the dough on a lightly floured surface and roll it out into a rectangle until it is about 3mm thick.
- Trim the edges and cut out 5cm squares.
- Place 1/2 teaspoon jam on each square.
- Mix the egg whites with water.
- Fold two corners together with your index finger. Place a dollop of egg white mixture between the overlapping corners of the cookies. Press them together firmly to help the dough come together.
- Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Press the folded sides down slightly to prevent them from rounding. This will prevent the cookies from falling apart while baking.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10 minutes.
- Let them cool on a wire rack. Sprinkle them with powdered sugar when they are completely cool.
