Of course you can get ready-made bread from the store, but since homemade bread always tastes best, we'll show you how to make Indian naan bread yourself! Whether the original recipe, vegan, from the Thermomix or a crispy naan pizza - the flatbread is a real dream for all bread lovers! So read on and enjoy it.

India and naan bread go together like salt and pepper. Nice and soft on the inside and super crispy on the outside - the flatbread is often enjoyed with curries, but also tastes wonderful on its own with a little garlic and butter. Traditionally, the bread is baked over open embers in a so-called tandoor - a special embers oven that is heated with gas or charcoal. In order to preserve the typical slightly burnt spots and the unique taste, the bread is always prepared at very high heat. However, these tandoor ovens are rarely seen in restaurants or households, so you can prepare the naan bread in the pan. An interesting fact is that the bread is not only a delicious side dish, but in India it is even used as a substitute for cutlery by breaking off a piece of it and using it to grab the food in question. Enough talk – let’s get started and try our Indian naan bread recipe today.
