Jalapeño boats in the hot air fryer
Classic jalapeño boats,the ones in the air fryerbecome even crispier and are the ideal finger food for a football party. The mild spiciness of the jalapeños and the sauce is tempered by the cream cheese. To save time, you can fill the boats in advance and prepare them just before serving.
Ingredients
- 60g cream cheese
- 50 g finely chopped cooked chicken breast
- 30g finely grated cheddar cheese
- Finely chopped green onions
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill
- 4 large jalapeño peppers, halved lengthwise
- 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- Kochspray
preparation
- Combine chicken, cream cheese, cheddar, scallions, hot sauce, and dill in a medium bowl until well combined.
- Stuff the jalapeños evenly with the cream cheese mixture after removing the seeds and membranes. Sprinkle some breadcrumbs on top.
- Before placing the stuffed jalapeños in the air fryer basket, coat them with cooking spray. Then fry the jalapeños at 180 degrees for about 10 minutes.
