Yogurt Shake Cake: The 15-minute recipe with vanilla or chocolate

  • 150 g Flour
  • 50g sugar

  • 1 pinch of salt

Preheat the oven to 160 degrees fan. Grease the Bundt cake tin and then dust the inside with flour.

  • Place the dry ingredients in a sealable container and shake vigorously to mix well (don't forget the lid first).
  • Open the can again and add the yogurt, egg and cream. Shake vigorously again after closing. This should result in a smooth dough. If it doesn't work out quite as well, you can stir or knead again with a wooden spoon or your hands.
  • Pour the dough into the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 45 minutes and use a toothpick to test whether the cake is done.
  • Let the yogurt shake cake cool before decorating it with powdered sugar or another topping and cutting it.

Recipe with chocolate and nuts

Would you rather have chocolate instead of vanilla? No problem, because you can also prepare the yoghurt shake cake in a chocolatey version with a hint of coffee - this time from a tray. The chocolate cake with yogurt is also a good alternative to thosepopular browniesand definitely worth a try.

  • 300 g Flour
  • 150 g of any nuts
  • 200g powdered sugar
  • 4 Owner
  • 150g melted butter
  • 100g melted chocolate
  • 1 pack of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 mocha cup of lukewarm coffee

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Grease the baking tray and dust it with flour. Then you can prepare the dough for the shake cake with yogurt:

  • Place the dry ingredients in a container, seal and shake vigorously to combine all ingredients.
  • Add the remaining ingredients to another container and shake for a few minutes.
  • Then gradually add the liquid ingredients to the can with the dry ones while stirring (or vice versa).
  • Distribute the finished dough evenly on the tray.
  • Bake the chocolate cake for about 20 minutes. Test with the toothpick sample.

You can serve the finished yogurt shake cake warm or cold. He tastes goodwith a chocolate sauceparticularly tasty, but vanilla ice cream can also be served with it. You can also dust the cooled chocolate cake with powdered sugar or cocoa powder if you would like it to be quicker and easier.

  • 150 g cream cheese, room temperature
  • 85g soft butter
  • 200g powdered sugar
  • 30 g Cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp milk

Beat in a bowl using a hand mixer until creamy. Stir in the powdered sugar and then the sifted cocoa powder. As soon as a smooth cream forms, the frosting is ready and can be spread on the cake. This should have at least cooled down a bit by this point.
