When planning a kitchen, there is often a lot of discussion online about whether a high-gloss or matt kitchen requires more maintenance and which surface is easier to clean. Although matt kitchen fronts and worktops are particularly popular, many people are afraid that fingerprints and fine scratches will be clearly visible. However, we recently learned about a new material that is refined using special nanotechnology and is therefore extremely durable. FENIX NTM is an innovative nanotech material developed by Arpa Industriale Laboratories and introduced to the market in 2013. It not only combines aesthetics with technological performance, but can also be described as an open, flexible system, which is of great importance today.
Matt kitchen fronts in black without fingerprints
The Italian kitchen manufacturer Comprex has preferred the cutting-edge material for most of the kitchen ranges in its portfolio due to its innovative, high-tech character. In its latest kitchen series, the brand offers matt kitchen fronts and worktops that have a pleasant look and special properties. The new kitchen fronts are available in 10 expressive colors, ranging from the neutral White Kos and Beige Luxor to the most notable Pink Colorado, Blue Delft and Black Ingo.
Fenix NTM is available in various formats and thicknesses and is used for vertical and horizontal surfaces. The versatile material can be used not only in the kitchen, but also in the bathroom, living room and even in commercial spaces. Its special properties make it a real alternative to the innovative solid surface material.
The decorative surface of Fenix NTM is characterized by low light reflection and is therefore extremely matt. Thanks to the use of a new generation of acrylic resin, the smart material feels velvety soft. What makes it so special is the nanotechnology integrated into the surface, which forms a barrier against fingerprints, dirt and solvents. Any fine scratches can also be repaired thermally, for example with an iron. This is also where the name Fenix comes from.
The special manufacturing process using electron beam curing also makes the material antibacterial, resistant to mold and perfect for use in restaurants, kitchens, bathrooms and dining rooms. A matt kitchen can be extremely easy to care for and timelessly beautiful. Check out the pictures and video below to learn more about the sustainable material!
