This attractive house with a unique design is located directly on the sea coast in Singapore. It is a holiday home that is intended to accommodate a family from several generations and to create an atmosphere that is reminiscent of a resort, but at the same time has the comfort of your own home. To this end, the homeowner hired Robert Greg Shand Architects, who designed a unique interior with many natural accents, including a tree trunk table top for different areas, as well as a relaxing outdoor area with a pool.
Outside the house, you immediately notice that water plays a big role. In addition to the attractivePoolFour ponds surround the house and create a unique atmosphere. You can also see this from almost every room. The other rooms offer a great view of the garden.
A table top in a tree trunk design can be found in several pieces of furniture. On the one hand, there are the two coffee tables in the large living area, which enhance the seating area by the window fronts. The dining table is also characterized by this natural look and is complemented by attractive wooden chairs. Last but not least, the wood accent in the kitchen should also be mentioned. It forms a counter that can be used wonderfully for sitting. It is combined with light wooden cabinets as well as those made of high-gloss white and black. The two sinks and the attractive, indirect lighting are also striking.
The washing console is also particularly attractive in the dark bathroom. It also consists of a table top in a tree trunk design. There are also modern bowl wash basins on top. The second bathroom is made entirely of white marble. This natural stone makes the room appear not only extremely elegant, but also modern, which is achieved above all by large windows.
The bedrooms in the house are spacious and stylishly furnished. The modern seating area by the window in one of the bedrooms, from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the garden, ensures comfort. The other bedroom has an attractive sloping ceiling. This makes the room appear visually smaller and more secret. There are also original vintage accents such as furniture made from suitcases and elegant gray wall coverings.
