Making an Advent wreath yourself is becoming increasingly popular and is becoming a real trend. The use of eucalyptus branches in Christmas decorations is also popular and that's why it would be a great idea if you made your own Advent wreath with eucalyptus! - interestingly shaped glass vase
- Christmas decorations (e.g. small balls)
- Floral foam ring (it should also have a suitable bowl to catch water and fit on the vase)
- Eucalyptus branches
- Berry branches
- Poinsettias
- Moos
- Candle holder
- Table cherries
Make your own Advent wreath with eucalyptus – instructions
- Fill the vase with any decorations you like. It doesn't necessarily have to be tree decorations. Pine cones, walnuts and the like are also suitable.
- Water the floral foam. It should be noted on the packaging how exactly you should do this.
- Insert the candle holders into the damp foam at equal distances from each other.
- Place the floral foam ring on the prepared glass vase andinsert the stick candlesinto the candle holders.
- Spread moss over the foam so that it is completely covered.
- Push the branches here and there through the moss into the ring. It shouldn't look too crowded and the branches should fall calmly to create an elegant, casual look.
- Prepare a bowl or glass of hot water and one of cold water. Cut poinsettia flowers with stems, immediately immerse them in the hot water for a few seconds and then in the cold water. In this way you prevent the milky substance from running out of the stems and you also make the cut flowers last longer.
- Fill in the empty spaces on the wreath with the flowers. The Christmas decoration with eucalyptus is ready!

- Insert the candles into the candle holders.
- Prepare the poinsettias as described above by cutting them off and holding them in hot and then cold water.
- Put them in the tubes filled with water and tie them here and there to the frame.
- Loosely distribute the eucalyptus branches around it. Make sure that these cover the flower tubes as much as possible.

In the example you see cream-colored poinsettias, but you can also use the classic red ones.

How to make this simple, fresh Advent wreath with eucalyptus yourself
- Punch holes in the pendants, thread yarn through the holes and tie them around the glass necks.
- Cut poinsettia flowers, dip them in hot and cold water as described above, and place them in the water-filled flower tubes.
- Tie eucalyptus branches around the glasses and place a tea light in each.
- Lean the flowers against the glasses. You can also attach it to the glass with yarn.
If you wish, you can place the finished lanterns on a board orplace on a wooden disc. Then the whole thing looks a little more rustic and the arrangement is easier to change. A tray is also ideal as a base.
