Make leaf painting in autumn
Use the following materials:
leaves
Aquarellfarbe
Weißer Cardstock
Procedure:
- Apply watercolor paint liberally to your leaf. Use several different colors on the leaf to create a mix of colors on the leaf print. You can use green and yellow, orange and red, and purple and blue.
- Make sure the watercolor paint on the brush isn't too watery when you apply it to the page. If it's too watery, the ink won't transfer as well to the paper. Add just enough water to allow the brush to pick up the paint to apply to the leaf.
- If you use liquid watercolors, don't dilute them too much so you get a more concentrated color.
- Press the paint firmly onto the cardboard, making sure to rub and press every part of the sheet. The veins on the back of the sheet leave an imprint on the paper.
